Medical and legal professionals should be the only ones deciding whether the local government elections should go ahead amid the Covid-19 pandemic because political parties have a vested interest, African Content Movement leader Hlaudi Motsoeneng has said.
On day three of the hearings on Wednesday, Motsoeneng told Moseneke the environment was such that medical professionals “should lead us”.
He said: “You, as the person who specialises in our Constitution, you have been there.”
