Nine News reported on Monday afternoon that family members, including the twins, were removed from the home and isolated in cars on the street, which was cordoned off as emergency services responded to the death.
In a statement released on Monday afternoon, a spokesperson for NSW Health confirmed the woman was a close contact of another COVID-19 case.
This is the 61st death in NSW related to COVID-19 and the fifth of the current outbreak, the spokesperson said.
NSW Health extends its sincere sympathy to her family and friends.
The police spokesperson said an investigation was under way and a report would be prepared for the coroner.

The body of the woman, aged in her 50s, was found by emergency services on Monday morning at the home in Green Valley in Sydney’s west.
